Radio Kansas Contest Disclosure and Purpose Statement

Drawings for Connect subscribers may be distinct from drawings taking place on air or via mail at any given time. Online pledges completed within drawing window will automatically enter the donor into the current drawing. Kansas law requires that all interested participants be included in such drawings by request and without donation. To enter the drawing without making a contribution, choose the “Pledge to Pay Later” button on our pledge portal and put “$0 – Drawing Only” in the “Your Pledge” window, along with complete mailing address capable of receiving parcel delivery. Radio Kansas employees and their immediate families are not eligible to win.

No contribution required to enter any drawing, and station membership is not required to win. Prizes are offered with the intent of encouraging listeners to consider a tax-deductible contribution to the station. Membership levels and benefits posted online at www.radiokansas.com. Prizes awarded through random drawing from among eligible participants. Station may enter names into subsequent drawings automatically as a service to qualified members.

Drawing and Notification: Drawing winner will be selected from all eligible entries received in a random drawing by Radio Kansas, whose decisions are final. Each entry will have an equal chance of winning. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Drawing winner will be notified by phone, email or USPS. If a winner does not actively accept the drawing prize and any tax implications within seven calendar days from first notification attempt, that person will be disqualified. Should the winner not accept the prize for any reason, Radio Kansas may at its discretion award the prize in a subsequent drawing including all previously eligible participants. Prize will be sent via USPS or UPS.
