Regional Anchor, Morning News

I discovered Radio Kansas late one evening during a thunderstorm.  I remember thinking that the music combined with the rain and lightening created such a serene and relaxing feeling, a perfect fit for the reading that I was doing.  I didn’t know it at the time but the program that I was listening to was Nightcrossings and a few years later I would be the lucky host of the show.

I began my career at Radio Kansas hosting the weekend edition of Nightcrossings.  From there I went on to host the weekday portion of the program and in 2000 I accepted the position of Operations Director. I share my world with my husband Corey and the “real bosses” of the family, our sons Xavier and Quincy. Xavier enjoys music a great deal.  Thus far his favorite classical selection is without a doubt Flight of the Bumblebee by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.  We listen to that particular selection frequently-very frequently! Fortunately, he’s not old enough to call in during the Request Show, because if he was I’m sure he’d phone in each and every Friday! I enjoy the various aspects of working with the staff and listeners throughout our coverage area.  I look forward to many years at Radio Kansas.
