We’re flattered to be confused with public television, but – in Kansas, anyway – public TV and public radio are separate entities.* We offer classical music and BBC News at 90.1 FM, 89.5 and 90.9. The Radio Kansas broadcast area is so large that we share an audience with three different public TV stations! Click to visit PBSKansas out of Wichita, KTWU PBS out of Topeka, or Smoky Hills PBS in western Kansas.

No matter how generous you are with your public TV station, none of those dollars go to public radio. Make sure to be a member here and let us know which shows have earned your pledge! Likewise, if you donate to Radio Kansas, you likely watch public TV, and we hope you’ll be generous with them, as well!
*As independent stations, we each earn our own federal grants, enabling us to bring more dollars to Kansas to serve you! Confusing, maybe, but fiscally responsible!
